Process

I started with pencil illustrations to get a feeling for the essential shapes, and to give my team the opportunity to check out the creative direction early on in the process. I then used Adobe Illustrator to create the vector images.

Creating vector images allowed me, my teammates, and outside event contractors to use and reuse these design elements with versatility—for example, across an entire months-long campaign as spot illustrations, banners, and lower thirds in event livestreams.
